It's actually a rather pathetic holiday. With the possible exception of the Vietnam War, which was intended to slow the tide of communism, the U.S. hasn't fought a just war since the War of 1812.
That's two hundred years of misguided young men, and a few women, who were duped into fighting wars for their corporate masters. Wars that have made the country weaker and weaker till we're at our current point on the verge of collapse.
We've also had 100 years of economic enslavement via taxation and the privately owned Federal Reserve.
On the bright side, Trump has pledged to abolish the IRS and is the only president who has kept us out of war. The coming landslide in November is inching closer and closer.
